Who we are

Vow ("we") is the controller of the personal data you give us on vowlife.co.uk. Contact: privacy@vowlife.co.uk.

What we collect

Your answers (who you want to protect, what the cover is for, date of birth, smoking status and your partner's if you add them), one high-level health answer, and your name, email, mobile, postcode and best time to call. We also collect technical data (IP address, device and consent records) to keep evidence of your consent.

Why, and our lawful basis

To contact you about life insurance and introduce you to one FCA-authorised adviser, with your consent. Your health answer is special category data; we only use it with your explicit consent. We keep a record of the consent you gave.

Who we share it with

One FCA-authorised adviser firm. Before we share anything, we text you the firm's name and ask you to reply YES. If you don't reply, or reply STOP, we don't share your details. We also share it with service providers who help us run the website under contract. We never sell your data to anyone else.

How long we keep it

24 months for consent and complaint records, then we delete it.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to us or to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
